Remove 'AOM' from your workstation
This decreases application launch times and slows you down. Perform a search on your hard disk and then remove
Give more memory to Acrobat
Increase the memory allocation to 64,000kb - this will allow Acrobat more room to breathe. OS X and Windows users don't need to do this as the OS handles memory allocation to Acrobat dynamically.
Ensure you are running the latest Acrobat patches
Adobe Acrobat 5: latest version is 5.05 (works under OS9 and OSX and Windows 2000 and above)
Adobe Acrobat 6: (Standard or Professional) - latest version is 6.0.4
Adobe Acrobat 7: (Standard or Professional) - latest version is 7.0.8
