Training funding to provide new skills for new technologies

Pensord is proud to announce that it has been successful in gaining hugely significant funding for training from the Welsh Government, via the Skills Growth Wales initiative.

The funding, worth up to £150,000, will positively impact over 50 members of the Pensord team who will benefit from certified training delivered by approved third party training providers, Worth Consulting.

The funding, which was the outcome of many hours of vigorous form filling
and discussion, will develop the skills of all of Pensord’s front line people, managers and some production staff, and will undoubtedly deliver further
value to the service we provide to our customers.

Award winning training

Working closely with Training Consultant Jackie Lewis, the Board at Pensord
has identified the main priorities for development and has appointed National Training Award Winners Worth Consulting to deliver much of the programme.

The first phase is based on project and change management, and leading effectively through change. A project team is in the process of being established to drive the improvements and measure the outcomes, and they in turn will be receiving expert mentoring and development support.

Phase Two will focus on emerging technologies entirely focused on delivering additional value to Pensord customers.

Darren Coxon, Managing Director, and Karl Gater, Operations Director, will themselves be leading by example, attending leadership programmes at Cranfield University.

Jackie Lewis, Training Consultant

“This is a significant win for Pensord and its customers as they will be able to drive forward a number of projects, including new technology initiatives to benefit the company, their team and most importantly their customers.”
