Pensord gets passionate at publishing EXPO
Pensord returns to this year’s PublishingExpo at Olympia 2 on February 14/15 (Stand A54), and to celebrate the St Valentine’s Day timing, the printer of 275 magazine titles will be showing how passionate it is about publishing.
Pensord exhibited at last year’s inaugural event, and returns in February to demonstrate once again an enlightened approach to magazine printing, and a passion for the publishing industry. At the event Pensord will be focusing on AGFA's web based file delivery and approval tool :Delano, used by 156 of its titles and rising. Pensord was a pioneer in installing :Delano and at PublishingExpo it will be demonstrating why it’s such a hit with publishers.
Pensord Commercial Director Darren Coxon and others will be showing off :Delano’s main features of speed and visibility, and the fact that because it is web based, it allows 24/7 accessibility. Pensord supports publishers through the whole process of getting started on :Delano, with the simple requirement of a decent internet connection, svg viewer and java plug-in which are both downloadable via the Pensord website. Security is guaranteed, with username and password protection allowing users to see only the jobs they are authorised to see.
Pensord Chief Executive Tony Jones says: “At Pensord we are passionate about print and about the publishing industry, and only too happy to support PublishingExpo and any industry events that serve the best interests of publishers. We’ll be showing how those interests are enhanced by :Delano and how Pensord are able to get the best from the web-based tool to deliver optimum results.”
Delano was a significant installation for the company, part of an £8m investment in just three and a half years since their MBO, which has greatly enhanced the service offered to
publishers, and reaped rewards that include a coveted British Printing Industries Federation Excellence Award that recognises the company’s transformation.
