Being commercial and compassionate

Getting the balance right between being a successful business, and a caring organisation is very important to us.

In fact, in our Charter we promise to embrace our broader social responsibility and contribute to the community we serve, the community where most of our team have their roots.

The Pensord Charitable Trust is one way we deliver on our promise. By supporting a local charity – the Hospice of the Valleys – we’re able to give something back to the local community.

The Trust raises funds in three ways:

• Pensord People participate in fund-raising events
• We donate £1 to the Trust for each print project we quote on
• And we pledge a proportion of annual profits

The Hospice of the Valleys carries out admirable work caring for terminally ill people and their families, so we feel privileged to make a difference... however small.
